Charting a Path with Purpose

My journey in technology, community service, and leadership is driven by a simple yet powerful idea: purpose gives direction to everything we do. As I explore the fields of quantum computing, AI, and robotics, I’m dedicated to using these tools to make a meaningful impact. Whether working hands-on in a university lab, presenting ideas in public forums, or volunteering in my community, I’ve learned that true innovation is rooted in empathy, adaptability, critical thinking, and purpose. Each new challenge strengthens my technical expertise, deepens my emotional intelligence, and reinforces my commitment to serve with intention.

Technical Foundations & Exploration

My academic journey has been shaped by a desire to understand and apply emerging technologies with real-world impact. Through concurrent studies in quantum computing and AI, alongside robotics engineering courses, I am building a strong technical foundation. These courses not only deepen my expertise in cutting-edge fields but also equip me with the skills to innovate and solve complex problems.

Leadership Through Action

I believe that true leadership is demonstrated through actions that inspire, uplift, and drive change. Whether it's sharing insights as a two-time speaker at Denver Startup Week, competing on the soccer field, or engaging in rigorous debate, each experience has taught me the importance of resilience, teamwork, and strategic thinking. These roles have allowed me to step up, challenge myself, and make a meaningful impact on those around me. Through these achievements, I continue to develop the skills and mindset needed to lead with integrity and purpose.

  • As a speaker at Denver Startup Week, I shared my insights on technology and innovation through sessions like "Generation Alpha: Age is But a Letter" and "Generation Alpha: Young Entrepreneurs and Intergenerational Lessons." These opportunities allowed me to engage with entrepreneurs across generations, showcasing my dedication to social impact and entrepreneurship.

  • Our B-Elite team won the 2019 Colorado State Cup, defeating the top-ranked team, Colorado Edge, 1-0 in the final. As the underdog team, we surprised many with our performance and unique play style, inspired by Barcelona’s methodology. This experience highlighted the power of teamwork, resilience, and strategic thinking on the field.

  • An active member of the Denver Debate Club and the Rock Canyon High School Debate Team, I have competed in various debate events and look forward to participating in the upcoming season. Debate has sharpened my critical thinking, public speaking, and analytical skills, preparing me to engage thoughtfully in complex discussions.

Continuous Learning

In a world where technology is advancing at an unprecedented pace, I recognize that my generation is facing disruptions on a scale never seen before. Future careers will demand not only specialized knowledge but also a flexible mindset and the ability to adapt continuously to new, complex concepts. Through platforms like Coursera and edX, I’ve explored a wide range of subjects: from quantum computing to financial literacy equipping myself with both depth and breadth of knowledge. This commitment to diverse, continuous learning allows me to develop the curiosity, resilience, and adaptability necessary to thrive in an environment where change is the only constant, and lifelong learning is key to making meaningful contributions.

Why This Matters

I believe the most impactful innovations emerge from diverse perspectives and experiences. My journey through athletics, debate, and technology has taught me that tomorrow’s challenges demand a combination of technical expertise, critical thinking, and emotional intelligence. With technology, especially AI, rapidly transforming industries, I am aware that many jobs of today may not exist by the time I graduate, and entirely new roles will have emerged. To excel in such an environment, I am committed to cultivating a flexible, lifelong learning mindset and embracing AI as a tool to enhance my field of expertise. Whether analyzing quantum algorithms or organizing community service events, I approach each challenge with a commitment to viewing problems from multiple angles. I am excited to bring this perspective to university, where I hope to collaborate with others in exploring new ideas and creating meaningful solutions.

Looking Forward

  • Deepen my understanding of quantum computing and AI, focusing on their potential for social impact and ethical applications.

  • Continue bridging technical innovation with community needs, using critical thinking to address challenges thoughtfully.

  • Develop adaptable solutions that address real-world challenges, particularly in underserved communities.

  • Lead student initiatives or research projects that make technology more accessible and inclusive, fostering empathy and understanding.

  • Build collaborative environments that encourage both innovation and human connection, grounded in emotional intelligence and mutual respect.

As I prepare for university, I aim to:
