LA Tech Week Volunteer – Live Nation’s Female Founders Event

During LA Tech Week, I volunteered at Live Nation’s Female Founders event organized by the Gritty Pink team. I assisted in setting up the event space, preparing booths for various organizations, guiding guests through check-in, and supporting event flow. This experience opened my eyes to the resilience and accomplishments of female founders, as I learned about their journeys, challenges, and contributions to the tech and startup world. As the son of a professional woman and startup founder, this event gave me a newfound appreciation for my mother’s work and the dedication required to make an impact. Witnessing firsthand the struggles and successes of these women inspired me to better understand the significance of women in leadership roles, and it shifted my perspective on the value of resilience, empathy, and determination in the entrepreneurial world.

WE Global – Founderverse Summit 2024 at LA Tech Week

At the Founderverse Summit hosted by WE Global Studios during LA Tech Week, I played a key role in supporting event logistics and ensuring a smooth experience for all attendees. My responsibilities included helping set up the event space, managing guest check-ins, guiding attendees to workshops, and ensuring speakers and panelists had all necessary resources and technology functioning properly. Engaging with early-stage female founders and listening to discussions on topics like AI, space technology, and scaling businesses provided invaluable insights into the startup world. This exposure allowed me to connect with passionate entrepreneurs and understand the challenges they face, reinforcing my aspiration to become an entrepreneur myself. I left the summit with a wealth of knowledge about innovation, resourcefulness, and leadership—qualities I aim to cultivate as I pursue my own path in the tech and startup ecosystem.

Summer Camp Leader, Douglas County Library Highlands Ranch
As a summer camp leader, I organized engaging activities for young children, ensuring their safety and encouraging active participation. Additionally, I assisted with shelving, organizing, and restocking books, helping maintain an orderly library space that fosters a welcoming environment and inspires a love of reading in the community.

Eco Club Member, Rock Canyon High School
Active member of Rock Canyon High School’s Eco Club, supporting environmental sustainability. Helped clean and recycle on campus and contributed to winning a state-level Engage competition by achieving the lowest energy usage among participating schools.

Work Experience

My work experience spans both technical internships and hands-on roles that have shaped my skills and character. From internships in robotics and cybersecurity to my four-year commitment as a regional soccer referee, each position has offered valuable lessons. As a referee, a role I began at the age of 13, I’ve developed discipline, quick decision-making, and the ability to handle high-pressure situations—including managing rowdy adults, from coaches to parents. These experiences have not only strengthened my technical knowledge but also taught me the importance of adaptability, conflict resolution, and resilience. Together, they have inspired me to approach new challenges with curiosity, purpose, and a commitment to continuous growth.
