In summer of 2023, I interned at Denver University’s Department of Electrical & Computer Engineering, working on “Ryan,” an AI robot designed to help reduce social isolation among older adults. Under the guidance of a university professor, I gained hands-on experience with robot programming and hardware. Ryan is capable of recognizing people, having conversations, playing games, reading and mimicking facial expressions, and even leading activities like yoga. My role involved supporting user interaction testing, troubleshooting responses, and learning about the electrical components that enable Ryan’s functions. Through this internship, I saw firsthand how robotics can improve quality of life, especially in assisted-living facilities where Ryan engages residents and reduces loneliness. Jan 2021 - Present
Since 2021, I have been a regional soccer referee for the Colorado Soccer Association, responsible for ensuring fair play and safety on the field. My role involves enforcing game rules, promoting sportsmanship, and prioritizing player safety by monitoring adherence to guidelines. I manage game flow by controlling the pace and making quick, accurate decisions on fouls, penalties, and other incidents. Communicating effectively with players, coaches, and fellow referees is essential, and I work collaboratively with other officials to maintain consistent officiating. Through ongoing education, I continuously enhance my understanding of the game’s rules and dynamics, striving to improve my skills as a referee. This experience has taught me valuable decision-making, teamwork, and leadership skills while fostering a positive, fair environment for players to enjoy the sport.

Nov 2024 - Present
As an AI Automation Development Intern at True Meridian LLC, I’ll work on building AI tools to make tasks easier for the company and its clients. Under the guidance of a Senior AI Developer, I’ll help find processes that could be automated, assist in training simple AI models, and work with the team on small projects to improve workflows. This role gives me a chance to learn hands-on about AI in the real world without having to build complex systems on my own. I’m excited to apply my interest in AI while contributing to meaningful projects that help True Meridian work smarter.

Aug 2024 - Oct 2024
As a Marketing Intern at Enzoic, a B2B cybersecurity SaaS startup, I worked directly under the supervision of the CEO and Head of Marketing. My responsibilities included creating social media content to enhance Enzoic’s online presence and researching relevant cybersecurity topics to support blog writing efforts. I also conducted prospecting on LinkedIn to identify potential clients, crafted targeted outreach emails, and sent them with supervisor approval. This role gave me valuable experience in content creation, digital marketing, and lead generation. Collaborating closely with senior leadership, I gained insights into the cybersecurity industry and developed practical skills in client outreach, social media strategy, and effective communication. This internship deepened my understanding of cybersecurity marketing and allowed me to make meaningful contributions to Enzoic’s growth.
